Pawpular Companions first hit my radar in the fall of 2013.
I was on the hunt for raw food, after switching my beloved Shep over from dry.
Shep’s spirit has since moved on to running through all the alpine flower-laden meadows he can find and lapping up all the water in pristine glacier lakes on the other side.
Mara and Carl are great supporters of One Tired Puppy in return, urging their customers to give our services a try.
Thus, we were happy to receive an invitation to join Mutt Strut this weekend.
Give a dog a hand up
The fifth annual Mutt Strut is a dog walk/run, honoring the memory of animal-lover Chris Anderlik who founded Higher Ground Animal Sanctuary.
It takes place Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Pawpular Companions in Liberty Lake.
The route is a quickie 2.5 miles, starting and ending at the Pawpular Companions parking lot. When everyone gets back from the pledge walk, Mara and Carl will have ice cream for all (even the doggies!). They’ll also have giveaways and raffle prizes.
All pledge money goes to the animal sanctuary, which supports local shelters, provides veterinary care and foster for animals in need, and educates our communities about humane care of animals.
Bella and I will be there as a vendor to answer all your questions about One Tired Puppy and how important it is to keep your dog exercised and fit!
If you’re just learning about Mutt Strut and want to participate, go HERE to register. Look for us there.
